How To Play
- Start with First spring. The letter S marks the spring; P marks the pond.
- Tap a pipe to rotate it clockwise by one quarter turn. Match its openings to neighbouring pipes.
- Connect the spring to the pond and every branch. Close every loose end to win.
Water and loose ends
Blue pipes are connected to the spring. Dry pipes use a pale fill. The Connected count includes the spring. A loose end is an opening that faces the edge, an empty garden square, or a neighbouring pipe with no matching opening. Every pipe must receive water and the loose-end count must reach zero.
Controls
Tap, Enter or Space rotates clockwise. Shift + tap, right-click, A or Backspace rotates counterclockwise. Arrow keys move to the next pipe in that direction, skipping empty garden squares. The selected pipe has a focus outline.
Undo, hints and replay
Undo turn reverses the most recent rotation, including a winning turn. Show a turn marks one pipe and names a useful rotation. No move is made for you. Restart level restores its starting layout after confirmation if it is unfinished.
Choose any of the eight gardens. Each has a fixed starting layout and a solution. After winning, Next level opens the next garden; a previously completed next garden starts again. After the final level, play level 1 again.
Brookbend’s eight layouts and graphics are original. Quarter-turn pipe connections were checked against Simon Tatham’s official Net documentation. Brookbend uses its own spring-to-pond goal with no loose ends and is an independent game.
